Is your property at risk of flooding?

Enter an address, pay once, and receive how deep rain water gets on the lot in a 100-year storm, where it collects around you, and what the street drains carry away.

$39 CAD per property, taxes included. Result in minutes, delivered by email and on this site.

A real rain check, recorded on floodverity.com. No account, no subscription.

How it works

  1. Type the civic address. We locate it and model a 400 m hexagon around the property, the ground that drains toward it.
  2. Pay once by card through Stripe. No account, no subscription.
  3. We drop a 100-year, 1-hour design storm on the 1 m government terrain model, route the runoff over the ground, and email you a private link to the result.

What you get

  • The peak depth of rain water modelled at your address in a 100-year storm.
  • Where the water collects around you, and how much the municipal street drains carry away.
  • How the water builds and drains through the streets around you during the storm, as an animated map and a 3D view with the buildings.
  • A PDF report with the data sources and the screening disclaimer, to keep or to pass to your insurer, notary or contractor. It is issued when data quality meets the report threshold.

Why now

Most water damage claims on a house start with rain the ground and the street drains cannot take away fast enough. Quebec's flood-zone maps cover rivers and lakes, not the water that collects on your own lot. A property-level screening tells you what a heavy storm does where you live.

For professionals

Brokers, notaries, lenders, builders, municipalities and insurers: we run the same check over a list of addresses and deliver a spreadsheet (CSV) ranking them by the modelled rain depth, with a methodology note and the data-source table; the map layers of each run (GeoJSON, GeoTIFF) on request. Fixed fee per project.

Licensing and acquisition

FloodVerity is a complete platform: static screening engine, optional hydrodynamic solver, hexagonal areas of interest, flood-order sweeps, 3D, reports, exports, billing. It is available for licensing or acquisition.

Get in touch

FloodVerity applies a design rainstorm to public terrain data and simulates where the rain runs and collects. It is a screening, not a hydraulic study, and not an official flood-zone determination.
